Join us for a vibrant evening of culture, community, and purpose as Ann Arbor's Branch 50 of the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America (UNWLA) hosts its 5th annual Vyshyvanka Day celebration at York on Thursday, May 21, from 5–9 PM.
Vyshyvanka Day, celebrated each year on the third Thursday of May, honors Urkraine's rich cultural heritage through the artistry of tradtional embroidered garments known as vyshyvankas. It's a joyful and meaningful tradition observed in both Ukraine and around the world.
Whether you arrive in a vyshyvanka blouse, a flower crown, your favorite Ukrainian tee, or simply as you are, expect an evening full of connection, color and culture.
This year's event will also serve as a fundraiser for Hospitallers, a volunteer group of paramedics providing life-saving care on the frontlines in Ukraine. In the face of war, Ukrainian traditions are not only enduring - they're thriving - and we invite you to be part of this special evening.
